Feast of the Seven Fishes

We were so excited when we discovered Steve Arnold and Chris Brown from WildRhody and Trace + Trust. We couldn’t believe how they brought the smell of the ocean to our kitchen when they delivered. We nearly lost our minds when we started to butcher the first black sea bass, and seven other fishes fell from the bass’ belly. Whoa. This is fresh.
It didn’t take long for us to dream up a feast using fish from these two exceptional guys. Steve, the Captain of the Elizabeth Helen and Chris, the Captain of The Proud Mary could deliver a real ocean to table initiative. How better to understand what really fresh and local fish can taste like than over a feast… A Feast of the Seven Fishes.
Our feast is meant to be enjoyed like you would at your Italian friend Tony’s house – casually with bottles of wine on the table, family style dishes and lots of good, lively conversation.

Oysters on the half: blood orange + rose granite
Fluke Crudo: shaved fennel, orange, pomegranate, sea salt
Octopus Salad: almonds, grilled trevisio, mint + dill vinaigrette
Salt Cod (baccala): roasted tomatoes, fried polenta
Squid: cous cous, capers, sultanas, pickled wax peppers, pepperoncino
Roasted Scup: vermicelli, artichokes, brodo + botarga
Little Fried Fishes: lemon + salt
7 FISHES + VINO (e DOLCI) $115 per (includes tax + tip)
